Job outline/outcomes:

• Repairs and overhaul diesel machinery
• Conduct safety inspections on equipment
• Oversee daily inspection sheets on machinery
• Servicing of the tractors, TLB, excavator etc.
• Operate TLB, tractor and excavator if/when required
• Assist with works operations if/when needed
• Ensure that there are enough service parts in stock
• Compile monthly report on status of equipment
• Housekeeping of the workshop
• Adhere to company rules, policies and procedures
• Adhere to any reasonable instruction by NSL Management

• Grade 12
• Diesel Mechanic qualification
• 3 years experience in stripping and repairing diesel machinery
• Must have a valid driver’s and Forklift license and own transport
• Experience in driving a tractor, TLB, excavator, loader
