  We require the assistance of a hands on vibrant, energetic and confident individual to execute entry level human resource and compliance duties at a packhouse in Franshoek.  Although previous HR skills would be an advantage, this is not a necessity.  The focus is on being able to take ownership of the extremely important role of enhancing the welfare of employees through good employment practice, maintaining employee discipline and thereby enhancing the employer/employee relationship.  Integrity and safe guarding of confidentiality is paramount.

  Specific Job Requirements and Skills

  ·                 Communication Skills: 2 to 3 years

  ·                 Excel: 2 to 3 years

  ·                 Supervisor of employees at factory level: 2 to 3 years

  ·                 Computer literate with a. intermediate knowledge of Excel

  ·                 Possess a Matriculation certificate

  ·                 Valid Driver’s license

  ·                 Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English and Afrikaans. 

  ·                 Working reference

  ·                 Sober work habits

  ·                 Working history of working in factory or packhouse advantageous

  ·                 Be willing to work shifts if the need arises.

  Contract period: Contract – Seasonal with opportunity to become permanent
