• Job Outline

  We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trade Tested Millwright to join our client’s maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant availability by executing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical faults, and supporting upgrades on the production lines.

   

• Job Requirements

  Responsibilities:

  1.Perform maintenance and repairs on the packing line

  2.Conduct maintenance and repairs on the building and facilities.

  3.Ensure compliance with all food safety standards.

  4.Adhere to all occupational health and safety requirements. 

  5.Relevant millwright qualification.

  Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment and technical specifications.

  Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.

  Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery issues to determine the best course of action for repair.

  Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.

   

  Requirements:

  Matric certificate – Grade 12

  Relevant maintenance experience will be advantageous must have at least 4 to 5+ years’ experience, excluding apprenticeship.

  Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills

  Ability to read technical manuals.

  Proficiency with hand and power tools

  Excellent critical thinking skills

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  Must have own reliable transport.
