  • Should I apply if I don't have experience?

    If the job specification says experience required – don’t apply unless you have the relevant experience..

  • How does it work through Outsource Retail?

    1. You will be applying for advertised positions on our website.
    2. You can register your CV on our database for future positions. 

    If you meet the requirements for an advertised job spec, with the relevant experience, you will be considered for that position. If you are applying for a specific job, and meet the requirements, an HR consultant will contact you.

    It is essential that all information that we request for your CV must be filled in or your CV will not be considered. 

  • What happens after applying?

    An HR consultant will review your CV so make sure that everything is completed. If it is incomplete you will not be considered.

    If your CV is complete they will obtain references and verify all of your experience and qualifications. If everything meets the job spec you will be contacted. 

  • What will I ger paid?

    Your salary will depend on the job spec and your experience.

  • What will my hours be like?

    Hours are determined by the job spec and may vary from job to job. 

  • Will transport be provided?

    If transport is provided it will be listed in the job spec.

  • Will I get paid overtime?

    Yes, depending on employer’s requirements and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act. 

  • When will I get paid?

    Permanent employees get paid monthly according to their employment contract.

    Temporary employees get paid weekly, every second week or monthly depending on their employment contract. Temps must submit accurate timesheets, signed off by the employer, to Outsource for payment processing. 

  • Do I need certified copies?

    Not necessary but it will be helpful. Please remember that all documents will be verified and dishonest candidates will not be considered.

  • Must I disclose problems like a criminal record?

    Yes, it is important to disclose any issues to avoid being seen as a dishonest candidate. 

  • Will I get trained?

    Induction training is always provided and further training is sometimes offered depending on specific circumstances. 

  • Should I include a CV Document

    Yes. You can upload a Word or PDF version of your CV, containing all relevant certificates, documents, qualifications and licences. Once you have completed your online CV creation, simply go to the Documents tab under your My Details/CV link.
