  Position Summary:
  We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Barista. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to customers, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  Duties and Responsibilities:
  – Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, teas, smoothies, and other drinks according to company recipes and standards
  – Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take orders, and process payments accurately
  – Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
  – Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, including equipment, tools, and work area
  – Restock supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposable cups, as needed
  – Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking inventory
  – Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures
  – Ability to multitask and handle high-volume orders
  – Other duties as assigned by management

   

• Job Requirements

  Qualifications:
  – Previous experience in a similar role as a Barista preferred
  – Knowledge of different coffee brewing techniques and equipment
  – Strong customer service and communication skills
  – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
  – Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards consistently
  – Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

   

  Physical Requirements:
  – Able to stand for extended periods of time
  – Able to lift and carry trays
  – Able to bend, stoop, and reach

Contract period: Fulltime

Compensation: R30.23 per hour
