We are looking to employ a blockman that will be responsible for cutting meat products to quality standards according to the production plans. This position reports directly to the Butchery Manager and will be required to work different shifts across trading and non-trading hours, including Sundays ,Public Holiday and Festive season.
Job Requirements
Must provide contactable references.
Must have at least 2-3 years in handling butchery equipment.
Must have thorough knowledge of the meat industry.
Splitting and cutting of beef, steaks, lamb, biltong etc.
Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter to appear attractive and catch the shopper’s eye. Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat.
Contract period: Contract
Compensation: R35.91
