• Job Outline

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Storeman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse or distribution center. The Logistics Storeman must have excellent organizational skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  Ensure a clean store is maintained

    Ensure FIFO is maintained with colour coding material when doing receiving

    Conduct visual checks for any quality defects when issuing material

    Ensure raw material is stored neatly and safely

   Ensure receiving inspection is done for each load /batch raw material received

    Issuing of raw materials as per production plan

    Ensure production returns are checked to confirm the quantity returned

    Ensure policy and procedure compliance

    Conduct stock take

    Perform regular cycle counts

    Receiving inspection truck checklist

    Truck loading checklist

    Abide by all relevant laws, rules and regulations

• Job Requirements

    Grade 12 or equivalent

    5 years’ experience in similar role

    Logistics/inventory qualification (Advantageous)

    Valid Forklift and Reach Truck Licence

    Knowledge of Syspro & Ms Office

Contract period: 3 Month fixed term contract to Perm

Compensation: R12000 per month
